The race-derived GP Plus V4 sport leather jacket is more than just an evolution
of the world-renowned V3, it's a complete revolution. With a revised silhouette, an
improved choice of materials, a new, modernized look with refined details, and a
reduced overall weight, the GP Plus V4 jacket is the perfect choice. The three main differences that
are new to the GP Plus V4 are the use of A-CS™ Plus stretch material, the extended GP-R
Lite elbow protectors, and a new, modernized graphic. The A-CS™ Plus stretch material is an
Alpinestars composite stretch material located in the large side panels of the jacket.
A-CS™ Plus Stretch is a MotoGP-derived material technology and offers increased elasticity,
high abrasion resistance, higher tear resistance than leather, as well as a lower profile and overall weight –
all important features that motorcyclists demand when it comes to more comfort and performance.
The chassis construction of the GP Plus V4 is complemented by a mix of race cowhide and regular cowhide,
with technical stretch material on the chest, shoulders, neck, and inner arms. There are
external DFS Dynamic Friction Shield shoulder sliders with Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 armor underneath.
Inside, the jacket features a removable 80g thermal vest and has long, direct-opening
airflow vents on the abdomen for ventilation and climate management.
