The SMX-6 v3 boots are packed with a host of innovative safety and protective features.
They are the ultimate performance motorcycle boots for the track and the road, packed with
race-derived technology and protective materials that give riders on the track or the
road a decisive performance advantage. With its redesigned upper, the SMX-6 v3 has been
precision engineered to conform closely to the anatomical contours of the foot and
provide optimal flexibility and enhanced walking comfort. Every component of the SMX-6 v3 boots
has been carefully developed with rider performance in mind, including protective innovations,
improved ergonomics and comfort features.

Technical Features

Advanced microfiber upper construction for lightweight, high-performance abrasion protection and
an excellent level of flexibility.
The new front and rear flex zones are made of over-injected textile on 3D mesh
and soft TPU for improved impact abrasion while promoting natural
forward and backward movement.
An evolution of Alpinestars unique ankle protection system provides
biomechanical support and protection between the lateral upper calf, shin and
ankle for superior ankle articulation as well as Achilles
and ankle impact protection.
The Alpinestars Lace-Lock System is made of an advanced polymer resin for a
guaranteed fast, precise and secure closure.

Construction

The main upper material is made of microfiber and offers durability, a high level
of abrasion resistance and flexibility.
Ergonomic last for a snug forefoot area that allows for better control and
greater precision of the motorcycle's controls.
The new ergonomic elastic front gaiter ensures a precise fit in all
conditions.
The new design for the front and rear flex combines textile and over-injected, soft
TPU areas, which allow for improved impact abrasion and optimal, natural movement of the
foot forward and backward.
Medial side entry with elastic zipper and wide Velcro closure.
Snug forefoot area in contact with the motorcycle for more control and rider comfort.
New pull tab with special design to increase mobility and facilitate
Velcro closure.
New, removable anatomical EVA footbed with Lycra on top.
Internal insole with integrated shank reinforcement to support the arch of the foot
and protect the foot.
An internal toe protection is located under the upper and provides durability,
a better riding feel and improved overall performance.
The sole is made of a lightweight rubber compound that offers excellent grip on the
pedal surface.

Protection

TPU ankle protection on the side provides biomechanical support and protection between the lateral
upper calf/shin area and the ankle.
Equipped with a new TPU shift zone for superior protection on the lower medial side.
A new, strategically positioned, race-derived TPU shin guard offers superior
impact and abrasion protection while maintaining a more compact design, allowing the boot to easily fit under
pants.
Dual-density TPU ankle protectors are strategically positioned between the upper on the medial side and
the padded lining to provide strategic protection in key areas.
Replaceable, dual-density TPU toe sliders with screw mounting provide comprehensive protection around the
outer toe area while remaining highly flexible for walking comfort.
New TPU bridge on the rear calf area is designed to reinforce the level of protection and
support.
The SMX-6 v3 boots are CE certified according to EN 13634:2017.
