What is Vibram®?
Vibram® is the brand name for a high-quality rubber sole from the Italian company of the same name based in Albizzate.
The development of the sole dates back to a mountain accident in 1935, in which six mountaineers died due to unsuitable footwear.
Thereafter, the Italian Vitale Bramani began researching soles that were better suited for alpine terrain.
Originally, the Vibram® sole was used particularly for mountaineering boots, but soon also found use in sports and motorcycle shoes.

Vibram® - Features
Vibram® soles are made from a special rubber compound that guarantees enormously good grip. The position, arrangement, shape and heightof the sole's tread are precisely thought out and optimized for the respective application. As a rule, all mountaineering, hiking, andtrekking shoes from common manufacturers are equipped with a Vibram® sole, and Vibram® soles are considered a mark of quality.
