The Italian manufacturer Spidi, based in Veneto since the 70s, is once again expanding its range of urban jeans for everyday wear:

The J & Dyneema evo, CE-approved, emphasizes its construction with a new material that is both resistant and lightweight.

The new J & Dyneema evo jeans were newly developed in 2018 and complement Spidi's ready-to-wear product line with a new textile material.
Dyneema, applied to denim, brings a significant technical gain to the product with which it is made.

According to the manufacturer, the Dyneema-denim used is three times stronger (and lighter) than cotton Cordura motorcycle jeans, with a
resistance of almost 450 cycles compared to 130 for the others, when the jeans are tested according to the Martindale method.

The Dyneema Jean is equipped with Warrior Lite CE-approved protectors on the hips and knees; the latter are also height-adjustable.
For comfort, stretchy areas are placed above the knees and below the waist to facilitate bending and movement on the motorcycle.

The Martindale method is the most commonly used procedure to determine the abrasion resistance of textile fabrics.
