VERSATILE MODULAR HELMET

With the NEOTEC3, SHOEI continues its series of successful modular helmet models with "TEC" in their name. Whether in everyday city traffic, on evening trips through winding roads, or on extended motorcycle tours with like-minded individuals – the NEOTEC3 impresses with outstanding features for all purposes.
Its large integrated QSV-2 sun visor offers excellent glare protection even in low sun.
Certified according to the current ECE-R 22.06 test standard, the NEOTEC3 is also suitable for use with the chin bar open at appropriate speeds, thanks to P/J homologation. When the helmet is completely closed, an integrated, deeply branched ventilation system ensures fresh air and cooling.
The revolutionary SHOEI COMLINK interface allows for perfect integration of Sena's SRL3 MESH communication system.
Smooth outer surfaces and transitions keep noise levels for the rider low.
The micro-ratchet closure on the comfortably narrow chin strap makes putting on and taking off this incomparably high-quality modular helmet model from SHOEI easier.

SAFETY
The outer shell of the SHOEI NEOTEC3, made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix), combined with a polystyrene core system composed of several elements of varying absorption capabilities, offers optimal impact protection in accordance with the requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 test standard.

The SHOEI NEOTEC3 equally meets the requirements of this test standard for full-face and open-face helmets. A second, stable detent position allows for the helmet to be used with the chin bar open and locked, in addition to the recommended use with the chin bar closed.
The standard-fitted clear CNS-3C visor provides an almost unrestricted horizontal and vertical field of view. The anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lens included with the helmet ensures clear vision even in adverse weather conditions.
The comfortably narrow chin strap with a micro-ratchet closure is easy to operate and securely holds the helmet in position.
A stainless steel locking mechanism securely and reliably locks the chin bar in the closed position.

WEARING COMFORT
3 different outer shell sizes (XS-M | L | XL-XXL) allow for a wide range of sizes for the SHOEI NEOTEC3 and at the same time an optimal ratio of helmet to rider size. A good balance of the helmet protects the neck muscles and prevents fatigue, both in inner-city commuting and on extended tours or long motorcycle trips.
The three-dimensionally shaped head pad, the pre-formed cheek pads with noise isolator, and the chin strap cover are completely removable and washable. For individual helmet adjustment, head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses. The vertical fit of the helmet can be adjusted with a pad that can be inserted into the top of the head area.
Cheek pads extended to the back of the head area with voluminous undersides, together with the removable ear pads, effectively contribute to noise reduction.
The standard-fitted CNS-3C visor prevents drafts and rainwater from entering due to its characteristic upper edge, which is inclined towards the helmet shell. It can be opened without distortion and reliably closed with the centrally positioned locking mechanism. For additional fresh air while riding, the visor mechanism allows for a small gap opening of the visor. Visor changes are tool-free thanks to the proven, self-adjusting quick-change mechanism.
The integrated, high-quality QSV-2 sun visor of the SHOEI NEOTEC3 is continuously extendable and covers the usable field of vision almost completely even downwards. It can be easily and tool-free replaced by an optional, yellow-tinted visor with contrast-enhancing effect. This additional visor thus ensures optimal visibility for many applications and weather conditions.
Recesses in the ear area, pre-prepared cable guides, and installation positions for the device components allow for simple and quick mounting of Sena's SRL3 communication system, available in SHOEI's accessory range.

VENTILATION
Ventilation inlets directed directly into the airstream draw in fresh air to reduce the temperature and humidity inside the SHOEI NEOTEC3. A removable filter in the lower front ventilation prevents insects from entering. Raised ventilation regulators allow for operation even with thick gloves, and thus for the helmet to be used in cold temperature zones or during the cold season.

AERODYNAMICS
Smooth surfaces and transitions reduce the helmet's wind resistance and the noise level for the wearer, yet the integrated spoilers on the sides and rear of the helmet reveal the sporty character of the SHOEI NEOTEC3. A stable mechanism ensures an eccentric rotational movement of the chin bar when opening and closing, allowing for minimal gaps between the chin bar and helmet shell. The transition area between the chin bar and helmet shell is smoothly designed to reduce turbulence in the ear area and associated noise.

ACCESSORIES
Visors in different tints and mirror finishes are available for the SHOEI NEOTEC3, which can be used in compliance with ECE homologation guidelines. The helmet is standardly equipped with a CNS-3C type visor. Anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lenses can be attached to all available visors of this type, one of which is included with the helmet.
The integrated, heavily tinted QSV-2 type sun visor can be replaced with a yellow-tinted version with a contrast-enhancing effect from SHOEI's accessory range.
SHOEI's accessory range also includes cheek pads with or without noise isolators, head pads in different sizes and thicknesses, and an insertable pad for the top of the head area. These can be used to replace the original pads or to adapt the helmet's fit to individual needs.
Also available are a chin strap cover, a breath guard, and a chin curtain in a synthetic leather finish.
SENA®'s SRL3 Mesh communication system from SHOEI's accessory range can be inserted into the SHOEI COMLINK interface of the NEOTEC3. After pairing with a mobile phone, a navigation device, or other intercom devices, the SRL3 Mesh offers the possibility of information and entertainment while riding, and integrates almost invisibly into the NEOTEC3's helmet shell. The SRL3 Mesh delivers rich sound and crystal-clear voice transmission with its high-end speakers, high-quality microphone, and harman/kardon® sound system.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY
The scope of delivery of the SHOEI NEOTEC3 includes a PINLOCK®EVO lens for use in the standard-fitted CNS-3C type visor, suitable replacement pins, and a small maintenance tool helpful during the installation of the SRL communication system.
Also included are a breath guard, a chin curtain (already mounted), SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag for careful storage of the helmet, and silicone oil for the care of the visor seal and mechanism.
The helmet's manual and the "Correct Use of Your Helmet" brochure provide valuable information on the use, maintenance, and care of the SHOEI NEOTEC3.
