SAFETY
The high-performance outer shell of the SHOEI GT-AIR3, made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix), combines high flexibility with low weight thanks to its composition of fiberglass and organic fibers.
In conjunction with a multi-element polystyrene core system of varying absorption capabilities, this helmet shell offers the highest possible protective function.
The PINLOCK®EVO lens included with the helmet effectively reduces fogging of the visor, even in adverse weather conditions.
The CNS-1C visor, with its high optical quality and large usable field of vision, allows for distortion-free perception of traffic, even at the edges of the field of vision. Like all SHOEI full-face helmet visors, it reduces the penetration of more than 99% of incident UV radiation into the helmet interior.
The pleasantly narrow chin strap with micro-ratchet closure is comfortable to use and holds the helmet securely in position.
In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed for gentle helmet removal using the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System).
The SHOEI GT-AIR3 meets the requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 test standard for full-face helmets.

WEARING COMFORT
The 3 different outer shell sizes of the SHOEI GT-AIR3 (XS-M | L | XL-XXL) allow for a wide range of sizes with an optimal ratio of helmet to body size. The ergonomically effective center of gravity of the helmet reduces strain on the neck muscles and prevents fatigue, both on extended tours and on fast motorway sections.
Distinctly contoured head pads support air circulation in the helmet and, like the three-dimensionally pre-formed cheek pads and chin strap pad, are completely removable and washable. For individual helmet adjustment, head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses.
Removable ear pads in the ear area effectively contribute to noise reduction.
The standard-fitted clear visor of type CNS-1C with an almost unrestricted field of vision can be changed tool-free using its proven quick-change mechanism. The self-adjusting visor mechanism of the SHOEI GT-AIR3, thanks to its well-contoured detents, allows for gradual, torsion-free opening of the visor, including a first opening position for additional fresh air during hot summer temperatures, or to reduce fogging of the visor.
The central opening and locking mechanism, as well as the raised ventilation controls, are easy to operate even with thick gloves.
The integrated, high-quality QSV-2 sun visor of the SHOEI GT-AIR II is infinitely extendable. It covers almost the entire usable field of vision and can be easily and tool-free replaced by an optional, yellow-tinted visor with a contrast-enhancing effect. This additional visor thus ensures optimal vision for many uses and weather conditions.
Recesses in the ear area and prepared cable routing allow for easy and quick installation of the SRL3 Mesh communication system from SENA®, available in SHOEI's accessory range, into the SHOEI COMLINK interface of the GT-AIR3.

VENTILATION
Ventilation inlets directed into the oncoming airflow and aerodynamically positioned high exhaust outlets reduce the temperature and humidity inside the SHOEI GT-AIR3. The GT-AIR3 always provides its wearer with sufficient fresh air and creates a pleasant interior climate, whether used in warm travel destinations or in cold seasons.
A removable filter in the lower front ventilation prevents insects from entering.
The revised visor detent of the SHOEI GT-AIR3, with its first detent position, allows for a stable, slightly open visor, thus allowing additional fresh air into the helmet interior.

AERODYNAMICS
Distinctive integrated spoiler edges, smooth transitions between visor and helmet shell, and a slimmed-down helmet shell in the frontal chin area increase the aerodynamic performance of the SHOEI GT-AIR3 and at the same time contribute to reducing noise exposure for the wearer.

ACCESSORIES
Matching visors for the SHOEI GT-AIR3 are available in a variety of different tints and mirror finishes, which can be used in compliance with ECE homologation guidelines. Anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lenses can be attached to all visors of this type available from SHOEI's accessory range, one of which is included with the helmet.
The integrated, heavily tinted QSV-2 sun visor can be replaced with a yellow-tinted variant with a contrast-enhancing effect.
SHOEI's accessory range includes cheek pads and head pads in different sizes and thicknesses, as well as an insertable pad for the top of the head, for replacing original pads or for individual adjustment of the helmet padding. Also available are a chin strap pad, a breath guard, and a chin curtain.
The SRL3 Mesh communication system from SENA®, from SHOEI's accessory range, can be integrated into the SHOEI COMLINK interface of the GT-AIR3. After pairing with a mobile phone, a navigation device, or other intercom devices, the SRL3 Mesh provides information and entertainment while riding, and is almost invisibly integrated into the helmet shell of the SHOEI GT-AIR3. With its high-end speakers, high-quality microphone, and sound system by harman/kardon®, the SRL3 Mesh delivers rich sound and crystal-clear voice transmission.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY
The SHOEI GT-AIR3 comes with a PINLOCK®EVO lens for use in the standard-fitted CNS-1C visor, suitable replacement pins, and a small maintenance tool useful for installing the SRL communication system. Also included are a breath guard, a chin curtain, SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag for gentle storage of the helmet, and silicone oil for caring for the visor seal and mechanism. The helmet manual and the brochure "Correct use of your helmet" contain valuable information on the use, maintenance, and care of the SHOEI GT-AIR3.
