But it is only our decades of experience in the development of motorcycle helmets, our uncompromisingly high quality of workmanship and our inquisitive eye on the demands of motorcyclists of today and tomorrow that turn these features into a premium sports helmet: the compact and lightweight SHOEI NXR2, which continues the tradition of high-quality sports helmets from the extremely successful XR series.

Safety
Its outer shell made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) combined with a polystyrene core system composed of multiple elements of different absorption capabilities provides optimal and highly effective impact protection.
The newly developed CWR-F2 visor for the SHOEI NXR2, with its two-dimensional design, enables a distortion-free and very natural view. Reinforcements on the upper and lower visor edges increase connection rigidity, and a centrally located locking mechanism prevents the visor from opening unintentionally. Thanks to a further developed mechanism compared to the previous model, it can be changed and adjusted quickly and without tools.
The enlarged, anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lens included in the helmet's scope of delivery allows an unobstructed view in most of the usable field of vision, even under adverse difficult weather conditions, thanks to the widely set back attachment points.
The chin strap with double D-ring closure is easily adjustable and holds the helmet securely in the optimal position.
In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed thanks to the EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System) for gentle helmet removal.

Comfort
4 different outer shell sizes (XXS-XS-S | M | L | XL-XXL) make the NXR2 a compact, lightweight sports helmet with a wide range of sizes. Its low weight relieves the neck muscles and thus reduces the fatigue effect, whether in sporting use on the racetrack or on extended tours.
The three-dimensionally contoured head pad, the pre-formed cheek pads and the chin strap pad are completely removable, washable and easy to reinsert. Lightly roughened but soft, quick-drying cover materials reduce friction of the pads on the skin and ensure a comfortable fit. The newly designed cheek pads allow for easier donning and doffing of the helmet. Their more voluminous underside reduces noise for the wearer. For individual helmet adjustment, head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses/sizes.
Removable ear pads in the ear area effectively contribute to noise reduction.
Cut-outs in the ear area allow for the installation of a communication system.

Ventilation
The 6 air inlets and 4 air outlets of the SHOEI NXR2 are connected via an ingenious branched ventilation system within the helmet shell and noticeably reduce the internal temperature and humidity in the helmet. They always ensure sufficient fresh air supply for the rider, without increasing noise. The result is a pleasant helmet climate for a concentrated and fatigue-free ride, both for sporty riding on the racetrack and for tours on warm days.
The closure sliders of the ventilation inlets are very easy to operate even with gloves.

Aerodynamics
The integrated spoiler in the rear head area stabilizes the helmet at high speeds. The compact and aerodynamically optimized design of the SHOEI NXR2 reduces its wind resistance and lift tendency even further compared to the already low values of the previous model. This effectively relieves the rider's neck muscles and reduces fatigue effects even on longer tours.
Vortex generators on the edges of the visor and a newly developed visor seal minimize noise in the visor area.

Accessories
For the SHOEI NXR2, visors are available in a variety of different tints and mirror finishes that can be used in compliance with ECE homologation guidelines: light/dark tinted – mirrored silver/blue/gold/rainbow – high definition orange/yellow – photocromic Transitions adaptive visor. The helmet is equipped as standard with a clear CWR-F2 type visor. Anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lenses can be attached to all visors of this type, one of which is included with the helmet.
In SHOEI's accessory range, cheek pads and head pads are available in different sizes and thicknesses to replace the original pads or for individual helmet adjustment. Also available are a chin strap pad, a Breath Guard and a Chin Curtain.

Scope of delivery
The SHOEI NXR2 comes with a PINLOCK®EVO (anti-fog) lens for use in the standard-fitted CWR-F2 type visor and suitable replacement pins.
Also included are a Breath Guard, a Chin Curtain, SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag for gentle storage of the helmet, and silicone oil for the care of the visor seal and mechanism.
The helmet manual and the brochure "How to use your helmet properly" provide valuable tips and information on the use, maintenance and care of the SHOEI NXR2.
