Inspired by the research and development work with the brand's MotoGP™
riders, IXON reinvents the connection between protection and comfort.
With a product that can be used in any environment, you can push your
limits anywhere: thanks to its 3 fall detection modes, the IX-AIRBAG U04 is
suitable for road, racing and adventure.

EXCELLENT VENTILATION
The airbag is equipped with AIRFLOW CHANNEL technology:
a unique and advanced ventilation system that ensures
maximum body cooling. The airflow is guided through 3D mesh channels
in the back and chest area of the liner inside the airbag.
The technology was developed in racing directly with IXON MotoGP™ riders:
Aleix Espargaro, Brad Binder, Miguel Oliveira and Takaaki
Nakagami. The choice of outer materials also supports ventilation:
Hard mesh front and back, ultra-elastic mesh on the sides.
This makes the IX-AIRBAG U04 100% ventilated.

COMFORT AND VERSATILITY
The choice of ultra-light materials for the inside and outside makes the
IX-AIRBAG U04 the lightest electronic airbag on the market.
The design has been carefully developed not to hinder movement
and to offer a perfect riding experience.
The fit is close to the body: it avoids the feeling of tightness and
makes you forget about the airbag.

3 fall detection modes integrated into the In&box electronics developed by
In&motion: The airbag is suitable for road, race
and adventure use.
Switching between modes is done with a single click via
the My In&box Mobile application.
The IX-AIRBAG U04 features the only airbag technology
that offers 3 different detection modes: In&motion has developed 3 specific
algorithms adapted to each of these modes.
The IX-AIRBAG U04 is approved by the FIM for many national and
international racetrack competitions such as WSBK and EWC.
(does not meet the technical requirements of MotoGP™ and JuniorGP™).

PROTECTION
In the event of a fall, the airbag is ready for use in only approx. 0.055 seconds
and effective, long before the first impact: 0.033 seconds for
detection and 0.022 seconds for inflation.
Inertial unit consisting of 6 sensors (3 accelerometers and
3 gyroscopes) that measure the rider's movements in real time: more
than 1,000 analyses per second.
Inflatable cushion covering 4 protection zones to protect the vital
areas of the upper body: neck, back, chest, abdomen.
New generation inflatable cushion made of OPW material:
up to 5 inflations before factory inspection, i.e. 2 more than
with the IX-AIRBAG U03.

Deflation: The function of the inflatable cushion has been optimized
to improve protection in case of falls and secondary accidents and to
manage situations after a fall.

Riding autonomy: 30 hours.
Charging time for the In&Box electronic unit: 2 hours.
Certification: CE certified according to EN 17092-6:2020 C U, Airbag
tested according to protocol AMC-013.

Back protector made of expanded foam, 15% lighter than the back protector
of the IX-AIRBAG U03, CE certified protection according to standard EN 1621-2:2014,
Type FB (full back protector), Level 1.

IN&BOX ELECTRONIC UNIT BY IN&MOTION
In&Motion subscription required, with rental or purchase of the In&Box electronic
unit. The In&Box Revolution offer at €120/year or €12/month
corresponds to a non-binding subscription for the rental of the unit,
the In&Box Classic offer at €400 corresponds to the purchase of the unit.

Expandable In&Box electronic unit: regular updates.
The In&motion referral system offers a free subscription to the
In&Box electronic unit for up to 3 years.
Depending on the country, In&box subscribers (monthly or
annual subscription) can benefit from the "Emergency Call" function in the My In&box
mobile application thanks to the partnership between In&motion and Liberty
Rider (this function is available to members in France, Belgium
and Italy with a French, Belgian or Italian
phone number).
